You are what you eat...

Borrowing from Gardening Fool, I just had to repost this link.

www.whatsonyourfood.org

This site will tell you what pesticides are commonly found on different kinds of commercially available produce. It will definitely make you think about starting a veggie garden of your own...

  1. Hi Kara! Thanks for your heads up in my blog. Happy you found it useful.

If you want for a new window to open when folks click on your link all you have to do is follow these steps:

After having saved the post (don't ask me why, but for some reason it does not work when one is doing the original post) go back to edit mode.

Click on the HTML tab on top of the posting.

Look for the address you are looking to modify.

At the end of the address, in this case it would be the ".org" part, add the following:

    " TARGET="_blank"/>

You must include the quotation marks in the portion shown above to copy paste at end of the site's address.

It might take a few tries at first but I find it works wonderfully as it does not automatically kick people off your blog and it opens another window instead.

Let me know in my bloggy blog if you have any questions.

    Take care!
PS: your blog is looking fabulous! ☺☺☺

  2. Oh, almost forgot, one last thing: you really don't have to give me credit for stuff like that...not like I came up with the study or anything :-)

  4. Hi Kara,
I'm also a Master Gardener (2008)in Martin County. Wendy shared your blog address with me as she probably gave you mine. Love your blog! I'm so surprised that out of all the Master Gardeners we are the only two that have tried to share our experiences in gardening in this manner. I have enjoyed reading yours and encourage you to keep at it.
