For whom the Bell Pepper tolls...

Go ahead Mom, I know you're going to take credit for my literary reference...

Ok, beyond that, check out my peppers! I have no idea what varieties I have. You might think that's irresponsible or something, but if you did I'd just ignore you.

Well, it is my blog. I can ignore you if I want to. Take that.

Anyway, I think I have all kinds of varieties. We purchased this baby at Lowe's (or Home Depot, which ever) and once it is all grown up it will be orange.

I started a bunch of bell pepper seeds too, but they were the 'variety' so I'm not sure which ones are green. This will be a problem because some of them will stay green and some will develop other colors, and I won't know which is which. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there... Or I'll just impatiently eat them all when they're green.

Tree Farm Bob brought us some lovely pepper plants as well. He doesn't know what kind he brought us though, either. They could be Jalapenos, could be Habaneros, could be Sweet Bananas. I guess we'll find out in the next few weeks though, because they're blooming!

And here's Louise, trying to steal the show. She's such a ham...

  1. Yup--I'm taking credit on this one. Did my Senior Thesis on Hemmingway. You come by it honestly. I wanna eat that pepper now! It's so pretty!

  2. Nope, we're waiting until it changes colors! But it sure looks nice. We have a bunch out there now!
